Combining fashion and charity

Joanne participated in the design of Kiehl’s skin care products to express care for disadvantaged families
2014 was the year when Joanne devoted most of her efforts in charity. Kiehl’s is a well-known brand that cared for children in poverty. Kiehl’s was especially invited designers from New York and Joanne to Chinese New Year red envelope, working along with an organization named “After-class care for disadvantage children” established by Chinese Christian Relief Association. Joanne came to know Kiehl’s product when she was in school and was deeply impressed by its image. She appreciated Kiehl’s effort to make a contribution to the society, do charity and care for the world. Joanne gladly accepted the offer, concretizing her support through actions. The patterns on the red envelope were simple but firm. Combined with famous architectures in both Taiwan and New York and the element of horse(Chinese zodiac), the envelope successfully showed the harmony between modernity and traditional festivals. They hoped that the envelopes would bring love and warmth to the disadvantage children. This truly touched people’s hearts.
